Pride Week was officially opened on 06.06.2022 in the Kosovo Government Building under the patronage of the Office for Good Governance, Human Rights, Equal Opportunities and Anti-Discrimination – Office of the Prime Minister.
In support of Pride Week, the President of the Republic of Kosovo, Mrs. Vjosa Osmani gave a speech, showing solidarity and support for LGBTQI+ people in Kosovo. The President’s speech was followed by the Minister of Justice, Albulena Haxhiu, the Ambassador of the United States of America in Kosovo, Jeffrey Hovenier and the Ambassador of the European Union in Kosovo, Tomas Szunyog.
