Although the “Gender and Sexuality” Summer School was organized in October as a result of restrictions to prevent the pandemic, it resulted in a successful edition this year as well. During those five days, topics such as why sex is not binary, intersectionality theory, violence against women, feminism, gender and sexuality studies, representation, language, power and research in the social sciences, solidarities and inequality, social reproduction and the pandemic. Like every edition of the Summer School, the seventh edition was taught by Prof. Asst. Dr. Nita Luci and Prof. Asst. Dr. Linda Gusia, who developed a comprehensive curriculum with intersectionality as the main theme. Also, what complemented the Summer School even more were the lectures held by: Mirishahe Syla, Liridona Sijarina, Lirika Demiri and Carolin Leutloff-Grandits. Summer School is an academic program that is developed every year by CEL Kosova and the University Program for Gender Studies and Research.
