The summer school of Comparative Studies in Gender and Sexuality was held with the theme “Qualifications, Activism, Representation” at the University of Pristina in collaboration with the University Program for Gender Studies and Research. The course focused on representation and activism. The main aim of the course was to engage in an interdisciplinary and intersectional approach on gender, sexuality and activism, especially regarding the importance of representation and recognition of LGBTQI communities in the public sphere in Kosovo. The course program reflected the school’s commitment and emphasized collaboration with other organizations and individuals, such as academics, researchers, artists or practitioners. This program is supported by Civil Rights Defenders.
