A Summer School – Comparative Studies on Gender and Sexuality was held at the University of Prishtina on “Coallitions, Activism, Representation” in collaboration with the University Program for Gender Studies and Research supported by Civil Rights Defenders.
The course focused on representation and activism. The main purpose of the course was to engage in an interdisciplinary and inter-sectional approach on gender, sexuality and activism, especially on the importance of representing and recognizing LGBTQI communities in the public sphere in Kosovo.
The course program reflected the school’s commitment and emphasized collaboration with other organizations and individuals, such as academics, researchers, artists or interns.
