Blert Morina and the artistic group Haveit have been honored with the Democracy Award for 2018 for their contribution to promoting human rights and gender equality in Kosovo.
Blert Morina, u nderua me këtë çmim si njëri ndër anëtarët e parë të komunitetit transgjinorë i cili ka iniciuar rastin njohjes instituticonale të së drejtës së ndryshimit të gjinisë. Haveit u vlerësua për angazhimin e tyre si avokues të zëshëm të barazisë gjinore përmes arteve vizuele dhe performancave publike.
The awards were presented in the framework of the project “Democratic Society Promotion – DSP”, a project co-funded by the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation (SDC) and the Danish Ministry of Foreign Affairs (DANIDA), and implemented by KCSF.
