On Tuesday, CEL Kosova organized a debate forum with police officials from the Prizren region on the topic: “Institutional Treatment of Cases Involving LGBTI+ Persons by the Kosovo Police.”
The discussion addressed the importance of a professional and responsible approach to cases involving LGBTI+ persons, the role of the Kosovo Police in ensuring safety and equal access to justice, as well as the obstacles and challenges that continue to arise in the institutional handling of these cases.
The forum also served as a space for exchanging experiences and discussing ways to strengthen cooperation and build trust between institutions and LGBTI+ communities.
This activity was supported by the Embassy of Sweden in Pristina.
