Following two days of fruitful discussions, the event dedicated to the Action Plan for the Rights of LGBTIQ+ Persons in Kosovo 2027–2029 was successfully held.
The process brought together representatives from the Office of the Prime Minister, various ministries, civil society organisations in Kosovo, and activists working for the rights of LGBTIQ+ persons. Over the course of the two days, participants discussed the priorities, measures, and concrete actions that should be included in the new Action Plan, as well as the need for closer cooperation between institutions and civil society to ensure its effective implementation.
The discussions focused particularly on addressing the challenges faced by LGBTIQ+ persons in Kosovo, strengthening institutional mechanisms for protection against discrimination and violence, and developing policies that ensure equality, safety, and equal access to rights and services.
