“Mos” is an exhibition made by young contemporary artists Norë Potera & Ardhmëria Bregovina, and it includes several arts disciplines, starting from storytelling, video documentary, paintings, and installation. The exhibition focuses on the topic of women and girls roles throughout the Kosovar history. Nore Potera’s two large paintings in the exhibition attracted a lot of attention from the public. The paintings had writings on them taken from old books and old wedding songs from the history of Kosovo, and the artist was brave enough to revolutionize them and take them to a whole new level. Ardhmërie Bregovina’s video documentary which included her own audio recording where she was telling the personal story of hers and her mother’s during the 1999 Serbian aggression in Kosovo, and what they went through as females, was a very well done and touching piece of art.
This exhibition was organized within the framework of the mini-grants from the project Youth Artists for Change, supported by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Netherlands, managed by Stichting art. 1, and implemented by Cel Kosovo.
