Pride Week 2017 was held from October 6th to 10th under the slogan “In the Name of Love.”
During this week, a series of events were organized, including:
Official Opening: The official launch of Pride Week.
Hate Crime Reporting Campaign: The launch of a campaign encouraging reporting of
hate crimes against the LGBTQI+ community.
Queer Night: An event featuring personal stories, poetry, drag performances, comedy,
and music.
Panel Discussions: Discussions with law enforcement officials, the criminal court, and
the Ombudsman on issues related to LGBTQI+ rights.
Regional Panel: A discussion with activists on LGBTQI+ rights in the region.
Pride Parade: The culminating event of the week.
