TransBalkan is a documentary photographic project focusing on the trans community in the Balkan region, south-eastern Europe. The author has traveled to most of the ex Yugoslav republics, and along the way has met over 30 people whom he not only photographed but also interviewed. Amongst the people photographed are people of different nationalities, religion, age, social standing statues, educational background and of course individuals at different phases of their own personal transition.
