The International Day Against Homophobia, Biphobia and Transphobia (IDAHOBIT) is observed on May 17 in order to raise awareness of the discrimination and violence faced by LGBTIQ+ individuals and to promote their rights and well-being.
Today we are sharing a video with a satirical and brave approach to confronting the bigotry and hate speech of homophobic members of parliament. This video serves as a form of social statement that words have consequences and members of parliament must be held accountable for perpetuating discrimination.
By highlighting and criticizing discriminatory behaviour, we continue our efforts to challenge homophobia and transphobia, promote inclusion and advocate for LGBTIQ+ rights.
Together we can break down barriers, raise awareness and foster understanding. Join us in celebrating IDAHOBIT 2023.
