Pride Week 2020 was held in a format different from previous years due to the restrictive
measures imposed by the COVID-19 pandemic.
Since Pride Week brings together LGBTQI+ individuals and supporters to demand equal rights,
under the slogan “Po, du” they called for justice in the Civil Code decisions regarding the
exclusion of same-sex marriages.
Even under pandemic conditions, Pride Week 2020 was organized with cars on the streets of
Pristina, to address the challenges, demands, and to show the presence of LGBTQI+ individuals
in Kosovo. Unlike previous years, Pride Week 2020 was shortened to just one day, where in
addition to the car Pride Parade, the FemTalk discussion was held on the topic “Parade in
Pandemic Conditions”.
