The eighth edition of Kosovo Pride Week is here!
For us, organizing Pride Week in Kosovo is more than just a celebration: Since its historic first edition, Pride Week has put on the map all those individuals who advocate every day for equality, inclusivity, and the freedom to be oneself in a place where it’s not easy for anyone to breathe.
Pride Week in Kosovo is a manifestation of ourselves, our culture, and our personality. Pride Week in Kosovo is another display of identities that have been suppressed and kept in the shadows for years, never finding their rightful place. Pride Week in Kosovo, even in its eighth edition, does not forget to be the main passport for LGBTIQ+ individuals in Kosovo.
This time, we are focusing our attention on the fact that, despite common perceptions, we have always been here, and we will continue to be. Acronyms for us are not just letters; they are people who carry minds, content, intellect, activism, desires, and dreams.
